Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul finally squared off against each other inside a boxing ring on June 6, with the match being many months in the making and fans were certainly hyped for it.
While Mayweather is slated to earn around $100 million, Logan Paul will earn anywhere between $5 million to $20 million, which is certainly an exorbitant amount of money in its own right.
UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou previously reacted to both of them earning so much money and simply wondered just what UFC fighters were doing wrong to not be paid the same level of money.
While speaking on Submission Radio, UFC President Dana White was asked the recent fighter pay grievances that Francis Ngannou mentioned in his tweet recently. White mocked Ngannou and stated that he should have been a YouTube star.
“And, you know, ‘What am I doing wrong?’ Well, you should’ve started a YouTube channel when you were 12 years old. Then, you’d be YouTube famous right now, and you could be boxing Floyd Mayweather, I guess. I guess that’s the answer.”
Dana White is certainly sick and tired of all the complaints from various UFC stars when it comes to getting paid properly, but he really should be more responsible and not pay merely a pittance to his fighters who risk their lives every time they compete.
