Total Bella is a Total Divas spin-off that took fans on a ride with Nikki and Brie Bella as their time in WWE drew to a close. The series continued with their lives after WWE, but that show might be coming to an end now.

Nikki and Brie both spoke out about how they might to quit the show. Their children don’t like the camera and neither does Bryan Danielson. Nikki Bella also doesn’t want to raise Matteo in front of the world.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer brought up how Nikki and Brie Bella talked about how they want to quit the Total Bellas show. It turns out that they might not have had much of a choice. Word is that E! was considering the option of not picking it back up for another season.

“What I had heard was E! also had not committed to picking the show up [for another season]. So it all works out…the show isn’t officially done, but all signs lead to it probably being done. I could pretty much say that people had thought that was a factor whatever Bryan Danielson was going to do and it’s not a factor. That show is a non-factor because I think they pretty much knew the show was going to be over for a while. This isn’t…they said it for the first time publicly today. I don’t want to say it’s 100% known for a couple of months, but pretty much I think it was known after the last season.”

Total Bellas viewership had fallen dramatically since John Cena left the show. They had some interest with their pregnancies, but the show airs with such a gap between reality and what plays on television that it didn’t sync up. Now it looks like the Bella Twins will be moving on to their next project, whatever that might be. Their time in the reality television realm might be done for now.

Are the Bella Twins saving face by saying that they want to quit Total Bellas before it doesn’t get renewed for another season? Sound off in the comments!
