Karl Malone is gearing up for the NBA Playoffs to continue. He was featured in a video, smoking a cigar and looking confident. Malone’s name trended because of that video, but not for a reason he would ever want.

One fan tweeted out to spread an alleged story about Karl Marlon’s past. This fan said: “reminder: at age 20, Karl Malone raped a 13 year-old, she had the child, and Malone refused to acknowledge his son.” That tweet went viral in a big way.

As of this writing, the tweet about Malone’s past allegations has 148 retweets 18 quote tweets and 435 likes. Fans are talking about it in a big way and spreading this story once again.

It has been previously reported by many outlets over the years that Malone fathered a child in 1983 when he was 20-years-old. The mother of his child was 13-years-old at the time. Malone reached a settlement out of court between himself and her family in 1998 and 1999.

Another fan tweeted out to make it 100% clear that rape was an allegation that was never proven. “Reminder: the family never pursued criminal charges, just child support. Reminder: when that other asshole brought it up last year, the son asked all of you Twitter jackasses to leave them alone. Reminder: you ain’t do this out of good faith & they never said rape. You are scum.”

This tweet went viral in a big way, and it does include some libelous language. We have to wonder how long this tweet will stay up, but it has already been seen by tons of people at this point.

Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
