LeBron James makes a ton of money on the court, but he might have to talk about a pay cut for the good of the team. The Lakers are not doing that well against the Phoenix Suns in the opening round of the 2021 NBA Playoffs.

Colin Cowherd unleashed a bit on LeBron James during his radio show. He suggested that the 36-year-old shoo-in Hall of Famer might not be enough to lead the Lakers to those Championship seasons anymore. Anthony Davis is also having issues, so it might be best to add a third star to the Lake Show.

“LeBron has to look in the mirror and go ‘do I have to work out my contract here eventually? Take a little less to have a little more help.’ I think it would help them in the pursuit of championships. It’s going to be an interesting offseason.”

LeBron James has a net worth of around $500 million. He can probably take a pay cut, especially if that means that the Lakers won’t struggle. The big question is whether or not he is willing to initiate those talks, because the Lakers probably won’t venture into that subject matter.
