WWE went on a firing spree today and released six Superstars from their roster. Some of those names were fan favorites leaving a ton of people to wonder what is going on.

Braun Strowman, Aleister Black, Lana, Ruby Riott, Buddy Murphy, and Santana Garrett were all cut today. A couple of those stars wanted to leave the company.

Renee Paquette is no longer with WWE. She did spend nearly a decade in the company as Renee Young and she has a very strong opinion about what happened today. Paquette realizes all of the talent that every single person possesses who was released today. For her, this signifies a case of “horrible mismanagement.”

What a horrible mismanagement of some really talented people. Sucks.

There is also a strong rumor, that is picking up steam, saying that Vince McMahon is preparing to sell WWE. They cut some massive contracts with today’s releases. That would make a lot of sense.

No matter what happens in the future, WWE firing so many people really does suck. Hopefully, they will all find new ways to make an income after their 90-day non-compete clauses are over.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
