The LA Lakers are not doing as well as expected in the NBA Playoffs. After a big game 5 loss the the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday, they could be facing an elimination. Things need to turn around for the team as they try to reset for the rest of the series.

LeBron James is around, but Anthony Davis was not in play. His groin injury left him out of action with a strain, but he wanted to return. LeBron advised against it.

A report from Yahoo Sports said that Anthony Davis wanted to push and make the fifth game of the series, but King James told him not to rush things. That reportedly caused Davis to stop his push to play.

Davis told teammates he was going to push to play in Game 5, league sources told Yahoo Sports. LeBron James encouraged Davis not to rush it, noting the personal bout he had with the same injury, sources said.

The Lake Show is still in business and “OMG LeBron” can trend at a moment’s notice, but the team certainly needs to correct things in order to survive in the playoffs this year.

It would be great to have Anthony Davis back in action as well. Hopefully, that will happen without having to rush things.
