Jay-Z is undoubtedly one of the most popular and legendary rappers in the Hip-Hop world. On top of his musical prowess, he is also a smart businessman and is worth over a billion dollars for good reason.

The musical prodigy was also selected to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation later this year. Jay-Z’s music is known to touch the hearts and minds of many and it seems one particular album helped out fellow rappers as well.

While speaking on HBO’s The Shop, Jay-Z talked about his personal life and how much impact his music had on people all over the world. The rapper talked about his 4:44 album and how other rappers gave him a lot of appreciation, adding that it even saved their relationships.

“To be vulnerable in that space when you’ve done all this work and your ego tells you that you don’t have to, but then nobody else heals. So many super gangsta rappers come up to me and tell me on the side, ‘Yo, you saved my relationship.’ It was needed.”
