LeBron James has played for a couple teams in the NBA, but he won’t be taking his talents to Orlando. His time in the NBA bubble was enough time in Orlando for King James.

During HBO’s The Shop, LeBron James reacted to Bad Bunny’s tales about working out with WWE in Orlando. He moved to Orlando and gave up music for months so he could train.

“You gotta understand anytime I hear ‘Orlando’ right now, I get PTSD,” LeBron quipped. This was followed by a heavier declaration that he would rather retire than put on Orlando Magic blue.

“They have no chance…I’ll just retire. It’s over with. ‘LeBron’s been traded to Orlando.’ ‘LeBron lives in Malibu.’”

In case you’re wondering, the Orlando Magic heard LeBron’s comments loud and clear. They responded to a tweet about James’ words by posting a meme of Michael Jordan saying: “…and I took that personally.”

Obviously, LeBron James feels some sort of way about the Magic. He has made his point very clear, but odds are he won’t be forced into a move to Orlando unless he really wants to. As of this writing, it seems that Lakers fans have nothing to worry about.

Are you surprised that LeBron James would rather retire than play for the Orlando Magic? Sound off in the comments!

With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
