Kevin Durant is undoubtedly one of the most popular basketball players in the world right now. The Brooklyn Nets star had previously won two championships with the Golden State Warriors and there is no doubt he will win more in the future.

Now it seems his debut jersey for the Brooklyn Nets might fetch a pretty penny as it just recently released into the memorabilia stock market and could prove to be a huge investment.

According to TMZ Sports, the jersey that Durant wore in his first-ever game as part of the Brooklyn Nets on Dec. 22, 2020 released on the investment app Otis, and fans can now purchase shares of the jersey for $10 per piece.

Representatives of the app have stated that once all of the initial shares are sold, its value will go up significantly in trading and the owners who bought the shares can hold onto them or sell them, similar to stocks. Representatives have added that it’s not uncommon to see a 150% to 400% increase on pieces such as these.

Currently, the jersey is valued at $47,600, but it seems the price could skyrocket exponentially in just a few weeks as stated by experts. Durant’s debut game was certainly a memorable one as he scored 22 points in a victory over his former team the Golden State Warriors. We will have to see how much the jersey ultimately sells for after a few weeks.
