Method Man is famous for his various acting gigs throughout his career. The actor was a strong part of stoner-classic film How High. While Lil Yachty and DC Young Fly kept the series going strong in the sequel, Method Man thinks the world is ready for the next part.

The 50-year old rapper teamed up with his manager Shauna Garr to create a new production company named Six AM. While the production company is seeking to create content for people of all ages, their first project is set to be the third follow-up to the stoner classic How High.

The move comes out as no surprise, as Method Man revealed to Hip Hop DX that he couldn’t believe that Lil Yachty and DC Young Fly had overtaken the project that Redman and himself helped create.

My thing is, you have the Red and Meth brand that [helped build] and create this … those are all our ideas. When the new deal came about, we weren’t involved in it. Yachty and DC have nothing to do with it. It was just all business. I look at it like this man — when one door closes, another one opens and that just leaves room for [me] and Meth to do a whole new movie.

Since Method Man had no rights to the movie, Universal Pictures moved on with the sequel without the duo’s blessings. Method Man is set to appear in a couple of movies too, including Once Upon A Time In Staten Island and the action packed thriller Last Looks. Let’s see how the third part of the film turns out after under Method Man’s own volition.
