Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna and 7 others tragically died in a helicopter accident on January 26th, 2020. Kobe’s widow, Vanessa Bryant, is still dealing with this awful situation. Now LA County is calling her out in a big way.

According to TMZ, Los Angeles County is calling Bryant out for harassing Sheriff deputies by revealing their names in the lawsuit that she filed over photos taken at the site of her husband and daughter’s fatal helicopter crash.

In new legal documents, attorneys for LA County allege that Kobe’s widow aggressively conducted “a fishing expedition that is taking first responders away from their jobs.” This is in reference to the four deputies who she named in her lawsuit.

Vanessa Bryant won a legal battle in March where she obtained the names of those deputies. It didn’t take her much time at all to put them on blast via Instagram. In the new documents, LA County attorneys say that Vanessa is going too far with her case and those social media posts exposed deputies to threats.

Bryant filed a lawsuit in September against the LA County Sheriff’s Department after she learned that deputies took photos of the crash site. She obviously did not appreciate that the photos were taken and shared. This caused her to seek out legal action.

Do you think that Vanessa Bryant went too far by naming the deputies who took photos of the helicopter crash site? Sound off in the comments!
