Jake Paul In Big Trouble For Violating Turtle Protection Laws In Puerto Rico

Jake Paul has been on top of the world since last month’s megafight against Ben Askren on April 17th at Triller Fight Club. Since then he has become far too overconfident and egotistic for his own good.

Paul is known to be a magnet when it comes to controversy as he actively tries to find it. Now it seems Paul has managed to land himself in trouble as he is being investigated by Puerto Rico.

According to TMZ, Puerto Rico’s Department of Natural and Environmental Resources is investigating Jake Paul for riding a motorized vehicle on a protected beach. Jake Paul uploaded a video of himself riding around on the beach in a golf cart. It is also believed the person in the other golf cart was his brother Logan Paul.

In this case, the beach Paul rode on is actually protected and was in the midst of the turtle-nesting season. This means that Paul might have potentially harmed wildlife there and that is a very grave offence.

For now, it is not known exactly what punishments Jake Paul could be facing for this offence. Paul has yet to respond to the situation and while he has deleted the video, the damage has already been done. We will keep you updated on this ongoing story.
