DMX, the rapper, passed away on April 9th, 2021 after a drug-overdose infused heart-attack. While he had gone into a non-responsive state, a catastrophic cardiac arrest led him to pass away in peace with his family by his side.

His death led many figures from the industry to come forward with their homages to him. However, DMX’s musical sales skyrocketed and the news for the album that he’d been working on made it more urgent for its release to happen.

Now, the posthumous album of the rapper, named ‘Exodus’, is about to come out real soon. Def Jam Recordings took to Twitter to announce that the album’s arrival is going to be pretty soon.

Swizz Beatz will be fulfilling the role of the executive producer. The rapper stated “My brother X was one of the most pure and rare souls I’ve ever met. He lived his life dedicated to his family and music. Most of all, he was generous with his giving and loved his fans beyond measure. This album, X couldn’t wait for his fans all around the world to hear and show just how much he valued each and every single person that has supported him unconditionally.
