John Cena is very busy with his film career. Right now he is working hard on the Peacemaker spin-off for HBO Max in Canada. That kept him from WWE’s biggest show of the year, WrestleMania. A recent tweet is spreading like wildfire, but it is not legit.

A Twitter account called “@WWEE____” shared a tweet that went viral. The tweet is promoting John Cena’s return to WWE Raw in two weeks.

As of this writing it has 400 retweets, 172 quote retweets and 2,671 likes. Many fans think this tweet is legitimate, but it is not. Of course, some get the joke and are trolling the tweet’s replies. That isn’t helping the situation.

The account in question does not label itself as a parody account. No such official announcement has been made about John Cena’s WWE return.

Cena did send out a very cryptic tweet that many hoped was a tease for his WWE return. Nothing is official yet.

John Cena will likely make a return to WWE, but it’s not happening in two weeks. We’re sure whenever his return is official then WWE will make sure everyone hears about it.

Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
