Jessica Simpson has spent countless hours in a makeup chair before photo shoots. She didn’t need to beat her mug to take these selfies that broke the internet. They also received some big praise from her adoring fanbase.

Simpson, whose autobiography is called “Open Book,” shared some close-up makeup free selfies recently. The 40-year-old pop star still looks incredible as she shared those selfies with pride.

“Sunny kinda morning,” she used as a caption on Instagram. Her fans immediately reacted by smashing that “favorite” button and blowing up her comments with praise.

“You look so young and healthy and fresh faced!” one fan commented. Another wrote, “Thank you for being so real!!! Still gorgeous without all the makeup!” Obviously, they love Jessica Simpson with or without the makeup.

Simpson, who recently admitted to throwing away her scale, has spoken out about plastic surgery in the past. In a 2006 interview with Glamour, she was quite open about lip-plumping injectables.

“I had that Restylane stuff. But it fades — it went away in like four months,” she said. “My lips are back to what they were. Thank God! It looked fake to me. I didn’t like that.”
