Bobby Shmurda knows what to do to stay out of jail. He can’t violate his parole, so alcohol and hanging out with gang members is off the table. He can’t even wear gang colors, click here to watch him run from a pair of custom blue Nikes like he was on fire.

Shmurda was released in February after more than six years behind bars. He got some ink recently that has blown up the internet. He hasn’t dropped any new music yet, but that new Harriot Tubman tattoo is tight.

The rapper stopped by Daz Leone’s shop on Tuesday night for a session to begin a Harriet Tubman portrait on his right arm. It looks like he might have room for some other heroes, but he’s starting with Tubman.

“First session of a long project. Welcome homeboy. Got some fire on the way,” Daz Leone wrote as a caption on the photo.

We’ll have to see what Bobby Shmurda does next. That first song sample made some fans wish that he would go back to prison. He seems like he’s trying hard to stay out and now he has some extra inspiration on his arm.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
