The Rock has been working on playing Black Adam for nearly a decade at this point. It’s finally happening and shooting already started. Dwayne Johnson is perfect for that kind of role because his beefy frame doesn’t need any padding.

The costume department on Black Adam could save cash on padding. The Rock doesn’t need any help looking jacked. That’s how he naturally looks after a lifetime of clanging and banging in his temple, which is what he makes any gym he visits.

Dave Rienzi told Muscle & Fitness that The Great One didn’t need any help getting into the Black Adam suit. They can leave the padding out of this one, because it’s all Dwayne Johnson.

“It’s a fun process when you have someone like [Johnson] who is so driven, disciplined, and determined to do the work. There’s a continuously evolving vision that we are always working towards. We’ve been building up to the Black Adam movie for a while, with this goal of creating a real-life superhero physique… with no padded superhero suit necessary.”

Rienzi is Dwayne Johnson’s strength coach. He understands Johnson’s muscles and has helped him sculpt them along the way. Needless to say, The Rock is suited to wear all sorts of suits.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
