Jonah Hill and Seth Rogan have a close friendship and there is also a certain amount of trust between them. The two old friends are also very honest about what they should do next in their careers.

Rogan recently told the New York Times that he told Jonah Hill to turn down a role on Transformers. Rogan realized that he can make his own move as a nod to the Last Starfighter instead.

“I can see if Steven Spielberg’s calling you, asking you to do something, how that’s hard to turn down. You want to make a movie about fightin’ robots? Make your own movie about fightin’ robots. You can do that. That’s on the table now.”

There are no hard feelings between Spielberg and Rogan since he is set to play the famous Jaws director’s favorite uncle in an upcoming semi-autobiographical film based on Stephen Spielberg’s life.

It still makes us wonder how different the Transformers franchise would have been if Jonah Hill was attached to the entire project.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
