Roman Reigns is The Rock’s cousin and pro wrestling runs in the family. Entertainment also runs in his blood and he would like to follow in his famous cousin’s footsteps.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer opened up a bit about Roman Reigns’ intentions in WWE. Reigns is WWE Universal Champion now, but his end game is to use WWE as a springboard to make it in Hollywood.

“Roman Reigns’ end game is to be like Dwayne Johnson — to use WWE to springboard to Hollywood when you’re done with this, absolutely. His end game is to be, maybe not Dwayne, but absolutely John Cena.”

To become the next Dwayne Johnson is a huge task for anyone, but Reigns might have his eyes set on duplicating John Cena’s success. He is 35 years old, and can’t wrestle forever.

Hollywood has already offered Roman Reigns a few acting roles in Hobbs & Shaw, The Wrong Missy, and other parts. Those acting opportunities might get harder to turn down as the years go on.

H Jenkins

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
