Henry Cejudo is training to become a professional wrestler, and he’s serious about it. Cejudo also went to a man with pro wrestling in his blood to help him learn the ropes.

Legendary pro wrestler Chavo Guerrero Jr. has started training Henry Cejudo in the art of pro wrestling. New footage of the 34 years old “retired” UFC fighter putting in work in the squared circle has been released, a secret endeavor that we’re all finding out about. This took place at the Smart Cup offices in Orange County, CA.

The former UFC Champion and Olympian is making this a goal and he’s a quick study as well. Cejudo spoke highly of his trainer, calling him a legend. Obviously, he’s soaking in every bit of knowledge he can.

“Chavo is a legend, and I have been learning a lot from him. I have really gotten the itch lately as I feel as I am in fighter shape.”

“I have no doubt Chavo can make me into a world champion in professional wresting.”

Henry Cejudo has teased a UFC comeback, and he also wants to box Floyd Mayweather. Obviously, he has some serious aspirations all over the combat sports world, even in the realm of sports entertainment.

We’ll have to see if Cejudo ends up locking up with anyone in a WWE or AEW ring in the not too distant future. He has options at this point, but he seems to really enjoy pro wrestling.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
