Dave Bautista has taken on plenty of fun roles throughout his acting career. His unique look and personality lend him to roles that only he could seemingly play. One popular fan casting attempt didn’t land well with the WWE Hall of Famer.

Upon seeing a fan suggest that he take the role of Killawog from The Green Lantern, Batista didn’t seem to appreciate the fantasy casting. While some instances of fans casting films is spot-on, Drax the Destroyer had to disagree while asking if he’s really that ugly.

Ok I know I’m not the best looking guy in the world but how come whenever I’m fan cast as a character it’s always one that’s ummmm…. aesthetically challenged?! This is probably why I can’t get that rom-com lead!

Dave Bautista has a lineup of films including the new Army of the Dead film with Zack Snyder. If you add in his additional Marvel engagements and other projects he might be too busy to accept the role of Killawog. It was nice of those fans for thinking of him.

The jury is still on on that romantic comedy for Batista, but we’d put our money down to see it.

With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
