John Corbett who portrayed Aidan Shaw on the Sex and The City Tv show is reportedly returning for the reboot.

“Sex and the City” fans rejoice when the news came out that John Corbett is set to reprise his role as Carrie Bradshaw’s ex-fiancé, Aidan Shaw, in the highly anticipated show reboot. Corbett revealed the news to Page Six while recently speaking to the publication.

Corbett mentioned that he is very excited about the show’s reboot and said that he “might be in quite a few” episodes. He also put over the people he had the privileged of working with and said that they have been very nice to him.

Corbett played unlucky furniture designer Aidan, who Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie not only cheated on with Mr. Big (Chris Noth), but consequently dumped when he wanted to get married. He appeared in the movie sequel, running into his ex-love in Abu Dhabi, where the two shared a romantic meal and even a kiss.

The upcoming 10-episode HBO Max revival, titled “And Just Like That…,” will feature Parker, Cynthia Nixon (Miranda) and Kristin Davis (Charlotte). Kim Cattrall (Samantha), unfortunately, has repeatedly refused to be a part of any kind of revival.

The limited series doesn’t yet have a premiere date. We are excited to see what’s in store for Aidan and Carrie as no matter what they do, fate just brings them back together.
