First Look at The Wonder Years Reboot Cast

ABC’s The Wonder Years was one of the most popular TV shows during the late 80s and early 90s as many teenagers found the show very relatable. Now it seems the first look at the cast has been recently revealed.

Executive producer Lee Daniels took to Twitter recently and shared the first cast photo for The Wonder Years reboot. The photo sees Elisha Williams in a baseball uniform, smiling with his on-screen family.

Dulé Hill will be playing Dean’s dad, Saycon Sengbloh will be playing Dean’s mom, and Laura Kariuki will be playing Dean’s older sister. 

The new version of ABC’s coming-of-age comedy features Dave executive producer Saladin K. Patterson, Empire co-creator Lee Daniels, the star of the original series, Fred Savage, and 20th Century Fox TV. Fred Savage will be directing the pilot episode as well.

We certainly wonder whether the reboot will successfully capture the essence of the original show while also shaping its own identity.
