Kerry Washington Deletes Controversial Tweet About DMX’s Passing

DMX passed away and everyone had their own way of grieving. Kerry Washington thought a tweet about DMX getting friendly with recently-deceased Prince Philip was a good idea, but she was mistaken.

“Scandal” actress Kerry Washington found herself in a very difficult scandal herself after she tweeted out following the news of two famous deaths in the same day.

Washington posted and deleted a tweet that implied X and Philip are now good friends in heaven, chatting it up at the pearly gates. The responses from that tweet were rather harsh, so she deleted it.

Anybody else wondering what DMX and His Royal Highness Prince Philip are chatting about together at the pearly gates? My love to both their families. May they both Rest In Peace.

One notable reply made a point to say that DMX and Prince Philip likely aren’t sharing the same location in the afterlife: “DMX and Prince Phillip going to two very different places. don’t lump in DMX with a white supremacist pls queen.”
