CBS’ The Conners has been going strong for three seasons, but it seems tragedy struck on the set of the show recently as a crew member lost his life.

According to TMZ, it was stated that the crew member who lost his life used to mainly work on the lighting for the show. On Thursday, the crew member was up on the catwalk on Stage 22 at the CBS Studio when he was said to have suffered a medical emergency.

It was further stated that studio medical team were summoned to the scene but they were unable to revive the man as he was pronounced dead at the scene.

It was stated that the man was believed to be in his 50s or 60s and that the show was on its final day of production at the CBS lot.

A rep for Werner Entertainment stated the following regarding the unfortunate passing.

 “With heavy hearts we regret to confirm that a member of our technical crew suffered a fatal medical event today. He was a much loved member of The Conners and Roseanne families for over 25 years. As we remember our beloved colleague, we ask that you respect the privacy of his family and loved ones as they begin their grieving process.”

We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the crew member during this sad time.
