Disney is taking another deep dive into nostalgia as they bring back the Mighty Ducks.

Fans haven’t seen the Mighty Ducks on the ice in decades, but that is about to change in a big way with Mighty Ducks: Game Changers, a Disney+ orginal series.

Emilio Estevez is returning as Coach Gordon Bombay, the original leader from the trilogy. Others from the OG squad are returning as well. Returning members of the Ducks team include Elden Henson as Fulton, Matt Doherty as Averman, Vinny La Russo as Adam Banks, Marguerite Moreau as Connie, Garret Henson as Guy, and Justin Wong as Kenny Wu.

Joshua Jackson is not returning to reprise his role as Charlie Brill. It’s unclear why they couldn’t snag the Mighty Ducks star who went on to play Pacey from Dawson’s Creek. The show still appears to be filled with Easter eggs and plenty of throwbacks.

H Jenkins

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
