Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the reality TV series that gave us an insight into the family’s personal life is coming to an end. As sad as that is going to be for fans, it was an even more difficult for Kim Kardashian and her family to make the decision last year.

In an interview with Vogue, Kardashian opened up about the family’s decision to bring the show’s 14-year journey to a close with a final season airing this week. Kardashian said it was a joint decision between her and her sisters, but they had a few back-and-forths before finally coming to terms with the show’s ending.

“Even sitting in the chair for the last time, it was emotional, I thought, ‘I’m really gonna miss these interviews, I miss all these people.’ Our crew is family to us, so that I think was the hardest part of letting go of the show, knowing that we won’t see these people every day.”

Keeping Up with the Kardashians has 20 seasons, which piloted in October 2007. The show is definitely memorable for the family, but Kim K said she that doesn’t watch reruns of the show.

While there might be plenty of “embarrassing” moments to look back on, Kardashian said she’s happy she git the chance to document her own evolution. Many things that have changed but Kim K said she was shocked at how much her voice has deepened.

“That’s the biggest mystery to me and my sisters, We are blown away, it’s the thing that has up absolutely blown away. We have no idea what happened to our voices.”
