Iggy Azalea is one of the very few artists who are actively trying to expose the way the streaming industry cheats the world for more profit. She tried to expose the payola that is rampant in the industry, and after a new exposé published by Rolling Stone, Iggy is proven right.

Rolling Stone has been strong at chasing the leads and trying to expose the pay-for-play scandal that the streaming services have been allegedly pulling for years. While there are rules and regulations in place which should stop the payola, Rolling Stone has repeatedly made the claim that it is still perfectly functioning and that many artists such as G-Eazy have made a profit from it.

Iggy has been under fire from fans after she said that the streaming services are cheating in the open and nobody can see it. She tweeted:

Y’all act like it’s not a thing. It is a thing & it’s not even being monitored yet the way radio payola is at least policed.

Lucky for her that she can take a breath of relief. Rolling Stone’s piece confirms her suspicions that she so confidently voiced before. She tweeted while suggesting to the fans that they should have believed her when she said it.
