The 2021 Grammy Awards will feature plenty of performances, but Beyonce will not be among those names. It’s not for lack of trying.

Beyonce turned down an offer to perform at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards according to Uproxx. She is up for nine Grammy Awards including Record Of The Year and Song Of The Year, but she didn’t want to perform.

She has the most Grammy nominations out of any woman in history at 79 in total. The Grammy Awards is Beyonce’s night in a lot of ways, but she’s not about to mic up during the big show this year.

This weekend’s ceremony will take place across five small stages in LA. They have many performances booked including Cardi B, Bad Bunny, Doja Cat, Taylor Swift, and Dua Lipa.

Beyonce has not addressed why she turned down performing at music’s big award show.
