UFC has cut ties with two seasoned fighters after recent losses. Veteran of the cage Jordan Espinosa and former The Ultimate Fighter contestant Shana Dobson have been released from the company.

This news comes from MMA Fighting, and it is reported that they were released on Thursday, March 11th. It is said that “multiple people with knowledge of the releases” confirmed this news.

Espinosa ended his run with a 2-4 with UFC after Dana White’s “Contender Series” saw his entrance into the company. He has since lost his last two fights, including to Tim Elliott at UFC 259 just last week.

Dobson is a former Ultimate Fighter 26 competitor. She lost to Roxanne Modafferi on the TUF series, but she earned a contract in the process. She has since lost three fights in the UFC, and she was cut.

Both of these fighters will likely land on their feet. We’re wishing them the best.
