Justin Bieber shared cover art for his upcoming studio album, and this resulted in some people calling him out for jacking an idea.

The Justice album, which will be Biebs’ sixth studio release, is dropping soon, and French electronic duo Justice is not very happy about that. They’ve used their logo since 2003, and now Justin Bieber’s new album looks very familar.

Bieber’s cover art shows him with the title of the record across the center. The “T” in Justice looks like a cross, and that is the smoking gun, according to the band.

Justice’s management team contacted Spin and claim that Bieber’s people asked them to hook them up with their graphic designer.

“Bieber’s team emailed us in May of 2020, asking to be looped in with Justice’s graphic designer to discuss a logo. We tried to set up a call between Bieber’s team and our designer, but the call was never completed and the conversation ended there. No one ever mentioned an album called Justice or a logo that says ‘Justice.’ The first time we saw anything about it was the announcement.”

So far Justin Bieber hasn’t responded to this controversy. It’s also known what kind of action Justice, the music group, can take at this point. You can check out some “supporting evidence” in the posts below.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
