Young Money hasn’t seen a compilation release since 2014’s Rise of an Empire. That record featured Drake, Nicki Minaj, Birdman, Lil Twist, Tyga, Chanel West Coast, and many more big names on the Young Money label. Lil’ Wayne is working on something new in the pipeline.

Weezy recently spoke to Fox Sports Radio‘s “Up On Game” recently, and sports were discussed at length. The conversation did transition into music where the leader of Young Money Entertainment revealed that he has a bunch of new artists to spring on us once again.

“I have something out with a beautiful artist from LA, Foushee. It’s called ‘Ain’t Got Time.’ She has her own stuff about to come out, we about to shoot that. That collaboration, I’m so proud of that. She’s super talented.”

“Young Money, you already know I got a bunch of young artists. We post a lot of the new artists, but we about to put the compilation out, that’s something with everybody so they can start putting their compilations out as well.”

Out of all the music he’s done in his life, Lil Wayne said his newest favorite is one he recorded on the night prior. “My favorite song is the one I recorded last night,” he teases, before revealing the title to be ‘Rocket Fire.'”

We’ll keep an eye out for “Rocket Fire,” and the new Young Money mixtape. Obviously, Lil Wayne isn’t done in music as the polarizing character continues making waves.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
