Ryan Reynolds’ name has been attached to many big projects over the years. All of that stress mounts up over time and it seems that it is time for the Deadpool actor to take some time away from the movie business.

Reynolds announced that his film with Will Ferrell, Spirited, has wrapped filming. After explaining how the singing, dancing, and playing in the sandbox was a dream come true, it is time to take a sabbatical.

That’s a wrap for me on Spirited. Not sure I’d have been ready to say yes to a film this challenging even three years ago.

Singing, dancing and playing in the sandbox with Will Ferrell made a whole lotta dreams come true. And this is my second film with the great @octaviaspencer…

Perfect time for a little sabbatical from movie making. I’m gonna miss every second working with this obscenely gifted group of creators and artists.

These days, kindness matters as much as talent. I’ve been lucky to work with folks who are flush with both.

Ryan Reynolds did not reveal how long of a break he is taking from movie making, but it seems that he is stepping away for enough time to recharge his batteries. The 44-year-old actor has also worked consistently for a very long time and anyone could use a break after all those nonstop projects that dotted his incredibly busy schedule.

Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News opened the door for a new opportunity for Jenkins. With a history in finance, he broke into the journalism game by writing on blogs and other freelance websites before branching into sports and entertainment news. Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
