Gucci Mane is certainly one of the most popular rappers in the hip-hop world. On top of that, he is always looking out for the new generation of rappers. That being said, it seems Mane has been accused of ghosting Bi Scarr’s family after promising to pay for his funeral.

Scarr, who was signed to Gucci’s New 1017 Records label, passed away at the age of 22 on December 22nd, 2022. Reports then revealed that the young rapper accidentally overdosed on prescription pills at his girlfriend’s house in his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee.

In an Instagram Live broadcast over the weekend, Scarr’s close friend and collaborator Quezz Ruthless chose violence, as he accused Gucci Mane of allegedly promising to pay Big Scarr’s funeral expenses before ghosting his family when it was time to pay.

“You say to them you finna pay for the funeral, then you lie,” Quezz said. “You didn’t have to lie! You ain’t have to go ghost either, cuh. It was gonna get paid for either way. You could’ve just said you ain’t have the money. You don’t get no type of respect for that, cuh.”

The minute that them folks called yo phone to see if you gon’ pay for the funeral, you blocked them. That’s not real, cuh. You ain’t straight. You only trying to act all real. You posted Scarr talking ’bout some long live — bruh, you ain’t do nothing, cuh.

When they texted you and asked you about Scarr’s funeral, cuh, you told them folks that Keyshia’s birthday coming up. Man, y’all rich! Y’all can celebrate her birthday any day. Come on now, cuh.”

Quezz also claimed Gucci Mane asked Scarr’s family to return the rapper’s 1017 chains following his death, but informed the rapper that was not going to happen.

“You not getting them chains, bruh. You ain’t even text and check on the family, but you text about some chains. I can’t believe you, cuh! You betta not come trying to get these chains. We gon’ have a real problem.

Them chains, ours. Everything that we got, ours. You not getting it back, boy…Texting ’bout you want the chains; come get ’em then. Please come try to grab them.

Big Scarr was recently laid to rest in Memphis. While NLE Choppa and BigWalkDog were among those in attendance, but Gucci Mane didn’t show up. Regardless, Gucci Mane certainly did a shameful thing and fans have dragged him for that.
