Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger Welcome Baby No. 3

Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger’s family just got a little bigger! The proud parents announced the birth of their third child together, a son named Ford Fitzgerald Schwarzenegger Pratt, born on November 8.

The joyful news came through a heartfelt joint Instagram post on Monday. “We are overjoyed to announce the birth of our son, Ford Fitzgerald Schwarzenegger Pratt,” they wrote. “Mama and baby are doing well, and Ford’s siblings are thrilled by his arrival. We feel so blessed and grateful. Love, Katherine and Chris.”

The announcement was accompanied by a sweet graphic sharing Ford’s birth date, adding a touch of warmth to their exciting update.

This new arrival makes Pratt a father of four. The “Guardians of the Galaxy” star, 45, welcomed his first child, Jack, with ex-wife Anna Faris back in December 2014. Jack, now 12, was born seven weeks premature but has grown into a happy and healthy pre-teen.

Pratt and Faris divorced in 2018, and by 2019, Pratt had found love again with Schwarzenegger. Their first encounter at church was memorable, but not for any bold moves. “I didn’t try and pick her up at church,” Pratt revealed to Drew Barrymore last year, admitting he had a “very sweet” first meeting with her. “God has a fast-forward button,” he said of their whirlwind romance. “When it’s right — boom! — you’re hit. You fall in love, you get married. It’s all about timing. There’s a perfect plan out there for you. And I think you have to have faith. The minute you have faith, it falls into place.”

The couple tied the knot in a picturesque ceremony in June 2019 and expanded their family with the birth of Lyla in August 2020 and Eloise in May 2022.

In June, rumors began swirling that the couple was expecting again, which Katherine subtly confirmed with baby bump photos on her Instagram in the following weeks.

Both Katherine and Chris have been committed to giving their children a private life, away from the limelight. In a 2021 interview with the “Today” show, Katherine shared, “We were allowed to kind of be our own people and … choose to step into whatever form of being public we wanted to when we felt comfortable,” reflecting on her own childhood experiences as the daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver. “That was such an incredible gift to have given us kids,” she added.
