Tom Brady Seemingly Feels ‘Betrayed’ After Gisele Bündchen’s Tell-All Interview

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen tied the knot in 2009 and have two children – Benjamin and Vivian. The couple divorced in October 2022 and, in a recent Instagram comment, Bündchen wished her former husband all the best. It seems he shared a cryptic post after Bündchen’s recent interview.

Bundchen recently appeared in an interview with Vanity Fair where she discussed the rumors surrounding her split with the seven-time Super Bowl champion. She denied ever making Brady choose between their marriage and his career and called the rumors “the craziest thing I’ve ever heard.”

Brady posted a cryptic message on his Instagram Story about enduring the “betrayal of false friends”. This came just hours after his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen’s revealing Vanity Fair cover story was released.

Many speculated that Brady was responding to some of the statements made by Bündchen in the article. However, he did not explicitly mention her or any specific person in his post. Instead, Brady shared a quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson that emphasized the true meaning of “success”.

“What is success? To laugh often and much; To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends.

The famed essayist’s quote further described success as finding the “best in others” and “leaving the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or esteemed social condition…”

While it remains unclear whether he took issue with the entirety of the interview or only specific parts of it, it is evident that the Brazilian supermodel took advantage of the platform to shed some light on her perspective of their divorce. This included addressing rumors that she forced him to retire. Regardless, the two still have mutual love and respect for each other and that is all that matters.
