Megan Thee Stallion is back on social media after a long hiatus. It has been nine months since the singer has posted anything on Instagram. Fans have welcomed the “WAP” star as she returned in full strength.

On Monday night Megan posted for the first time since November 2022. She stopped being active on the platform ever since the Tory Lanez trial went big on the internet and in the industry as well. Keeping in line with the festivities of the Oscars, she posted a few snaps from the event.

Meg posted a photo carousel, some of which were taken at her most recent appearance at the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscar Party. Radhika Jones hosted the event on Sunday at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, California. She sported a slim black dress, a diamond necklace, and diamond earrings in the pictures.

The singer/rapper is not only back outside, but she is also at work. The same evening, Megan announced in a quick chat with ET that she is working on a new album. It will be her first project after “Traumazene” which was released back in August of 2022.

The rapper appeared at the ceremony to rap a surprise verse during the live performance of “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” from Encanto. Although it was not nominated for the Best Original Song award, the song was a runaway success from the Best Animated Film winner.

Megan is also set to headline the March Madness Music Festival AT&T Block Party in Houston. She will perform on the first day of the three-day music event. It will take place during NCAA Men’s Final Four weekend from March 31-April 2.
