Daniel Cormier Jokes He’ll Smack Brock Lesnar At WrestleMania 39

UFC Hall Of Famer Daniel Cormier is never afraid of fighting anyone in the world and that includes even Brock Lesnar. Cormier even recently joked that he will smack Lesnar at WrestleMania 39.

Brock Lesnar was very dominant during his time in UFC as well, winning the UFC Heavyweight Championship in 2008. After holding two titles at the same time in the UFC, Daniel Cormier issued a challenge to Lesnar. However, the fight never happened.

Daniel Cormier’s passion for wrestling is well-known, and he recently demonstrated this by serving as a special guest referee during the Fight Pit match between Seth Rollins and Matt Riddle at WWE Extreme Rules 2022.

Now, Cormier is set to take his love for the sport to the next level, as he will be leading ESPN’s coverage of WrestleMania 39. Despite not having the opportunity to do so yet, Cormier is still determined and unafraid of The Beast Incarnate. In fact, he recently joked that if Lesnar gets in his way at WrestleMania, he won’t hesitate to get physical.

“I’m getting more opportunities for ESPN, and I’m so thankful for that. So I’ll be at WrestleMania, just in a different capacity, and we’ll see what the future holds down the line.

If Brock steps in my way? I’ll smack him upside his head.”

Daniel Cormier had previously made it clear that he is down to cross paths with Brock Lesnar. Ronda Rousey also believes Daniel Cormier can defeat Brock Lesnar in an MMA fight. We’ll have to see if the two end up crossing paths at WrestleMania 39.
