Ronda Rousey returned last year during the Royal Rumble event, following a near-three year hiatus from WWE. Following her return, she became a champion twice, but nothing much amounted from her reigns. She was also injured during Smackdown this week and now it seems Rousey finally broke her silence regarding the matter.

While she previously expressed interest in facing Charlotte Flair, she has since made it clear that she is more interested in dominating the tag team division. Rousey has been paired up with Shayna Baszler, and the duo plans on making waves in the women’s tag team scene.

Friday Night SmackDown fans were left disappointed when the much-awaited tag team match featuring Ronda Rousey was unexpectedly cancelled and replaced with a singles match instead.

The reason for the sudden change of plans was revealed by Michael Cole during the show, stating that Rousey had sustained an injury during a brawl with Tegan Nox before the event. A clip was shown of Ronda clutching her arm and expressing regret to Nox that she didn’t completely destroy it.

As previously reported, Ronda Rousey is currently dealing with an injury. Baszler would end up defeating Nox on the show as well. Rousey took to her Instagram and uploaded a clip of Baslzer’s match with Nox, where she made fun of Nox with her caption.

“Arm for an arm, Skittles @nixonnewell. How’d that canvas taste? #LikeRainbow? Congrats on the carnage @qosbaszler 😈👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼”

As WrestleMania 39 draws closer, fans are eagerly anticipating whether Ronda Rousey will be able to compete after sustaining an injury in a scuffle with Tegan Nox. Despite the setback, reports indicate that her availability is expected to remain unaffected. However, WWE has recently made significant alterations to their plans for Ronda, leaving fans speculating about her future in the Women’s Tag Team Championships.

Although Ronda’s previous championship run received mixed reactions from the WWE Universe, it appears that many fans are now relieved that she is no longer in the main event title picture. As the road to WrestleMania is always unpredictable, it remains to be seen what lies ahead for the former champion.
