Despite his many controversies, Chris Brown’s undeniable musical talent has made him a prominent figure in the music industry. Brown is very outspoken when he wants to be and that lands him in trouble a lot of times.

Brown got bashed badly after a video of him mocking a disabled person made its rounds on social media. Disability activist Brett Leverton took to Twitter to accuse the singer of “imitating/mocking people with physical impairments/disabilities.” The video shows Brown walking in an unnatural manner, while on his ‘Under the Influence’ Tour.

The critic took to Twitter and slammed Chris Brown, pointing out that with over 113 million followers on Instagram alone, Brown’s behavior could potentially influence others to believe that such behavior is acceptable when it really is not. Leverton also referenced a post made by Brown a few weeks ago, where he claimed that he was treated differently by the media because of his race.

The thread went on to question why someone who has experienced discrimination themselves would engage in such behavior towards another minority group. Leverton’s comments have sparked a larger conversation about ableism and discrimination in the entertainment industry.
