Travis Scott Could Be Sued For Grabbing & Tossing Fan’s Phone Before Nightclub Assault

Travis Scott is currently one of the most well-known rappers in the industry, but not always for the best of reasons. His on-again, off-again relationship with Kylie Jenner also continues to make headlines. However, he was in huge trouble recently and now it seems video evidence of Scott grabbing and tossing a fan’s phone has been revealed.

As previously reported, Travis Scott is currently under police investigation for an alleged assault at the Nebula nightclub in New York City. According to reports, the incident occurred at approximately 3 AM on Wednesday at Nebula, located on 41st Street. It was said that he punched a sound engineer there.

As revealed by a video obtained by TMZ, Travis Scott can be seen grabbing and tossing a fan’s phone just minutes before he punched the sound engineer. Scott was accused of tossing the phone and a lawsuit could be coming.

The video footage captured Travis performing a surprise DJ set at Nebula in NYC, stationed behind the DJ booth. However, during his performance, he seemed bothered by a man filming him with a cell phone, becoming visibly irritated.

The owner of the phone told TMZ that Scott did toss the phone, which ended up striking the owner’s head and cracking it. Nebula offered his table a free bottle after the incident, but he declined and now plans to file both a police report and a civil lawsuit.

Travis has been named a suspect by the NYPD in an assault and criminal mischief investigation. His attorney, Mitchell Schuster, talked about the allegations by the sound engineer and made it clear that it was simply a misunderstanding.

“While this is clearly a misunderstanding being blown out of proportion by clickbait and misinformation, we are actively working with the venue and law enforcement to resolve and set the record straight. We are confident our client will be cleared of any wrongdoing.”

Travis Scott’s lawyer denied the allegations and stated that they are working with law enforcement to clear his name. We will continue to update this story as it develops.
