On this week’s episode of WWE RAW, Lita and Becky Lynch showed up to challenge Damage CTRL for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. In the end, a match was booked for next week’s show, and not WrestleMania. WWE already has plans for those titles at WrestleMania.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE’s plan for WrestleMania is still to have Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler battle for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. He also noted that it was the plan for them to win those titles.

This is a very interesting situation, because it could mean Damage CTRL will compete on both nights of WrestleMania. After all, a six-woman tag team match with Becky Lynch, Lita, and Trish Stratus vs Damage CTRL is also expected for WrestleMania 39.

We will have to see how this transpires on the road to WrestleMania. Obviously, things are in motion for the grandest stage of them all. Keep checking back here with us at Ringside News for more on this situation, and everything else going on in the pro wrestling world.

Let’s get to know each other. Me? Well, I have a master’s degree in Journalism from Marshall University, but I don’t really like to talk about that. I was a stand-up comedian for eight years, but I don’t really like to talk about that either. I write a lot. I once worked for a company that writes blurbs for online gambling games. Those paid $.75 each. So, if you frequent that kind of thing, then you’re welcome for the description for Biker Chicken Slots or Crazy Granny’s Scratchers. I wish I had more to tell, but due to my crippling anxiety and Tourette’s Syndrome, that has become increasingly worse over the years, I tend to keep to myself.
