Bella Thorne first gained attention for her roles as Margaux Darling in Dirty Sexy Money and Ruthy Spivey in My Own Worst Enemy the latter of which earned her a Young Artist Award. Thorne rose to prominence as CeCe Jones on the Disney Channel show Shake It Up for which she received numerous awards and nominations including an Imagen Award. Bella Thorne recently claimed that she will not sign autographs for certain photos of herself.

During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Bella discussed a recent incident at the Sundance Film Festival where she refused to sign the image she was given. Bella recalled what happened saying she was approached by an autograph seeker who had pictures of her GQ cover in their hands. Bella felt awkward signing the cover and pictures from that time because they were taken when she was underage. “I normally don’t tell them off but they offended me,” she shared.

Bella went on to describe that “it was this guy and he was shoving photos in front of me and I looked away for a second and looked back and there was a photo of me from my GQ magazine cover. It’s super sexy and my butt is out and I’m wearing lingerie and I’m topless.” Bella then said that she actually declined signing the photo at all but the autograph seeker was very persistent.

“I said I wouldn’t sign that and he took it away and then put it back in front of me again. I said, ‘No, I’m not signing that,’” she said. “He pulled out another photo of a magazine with another sexy image. He was like, ‘Come on, Bella. Sign it for me.’ I didn’t like it. It was inappropriate.” Bella admitted that she was uneasy about signing them because the photos were taken while she was underage.

“There was some stuff there from a Candies campaign that I did when I was 16 and it was clear that he wanted me to sign things that were viewed as sexy and even underage and I was like, ‘Give me something else,’” she shared. Bella revealed that the fan told her, “‘Aren’t they all sexy?’ No, enough is enough…I get it, they have to make money and everyone has a job so I get that. It was just that I was under 18 and it’s inappropriate.”

Actors and actresses are the most vulnerable even with tight security because of some of the extra obsessive fans who stalk them and drag their past. Especially for actresses who are frequently sexualized as soon as they enter the acting world and Bella has often spoken out about being sexualized from a very young age. Just recently, she clapped back at one director who spoke false claims about her. Keep an eye on Thirsty for the most latest updates.
