John Cena is a highly acclaimed and successful professional wrestler who has left a lasting impact on the industry. Regarded as one of the most legendary figures in wrestling history, Cena’s impressive in-ring abilities, charming personality, and connection with audiences have made him a recognizable name not only in the wrestling world but also in popular culture. He also faced The Undertaker at WrestleMania 34 and it seems he drank three tall beers before his match against The Deadman.
During WrestleMania 34, Cena went up against The Undertaker in what was essentially a one-sided match, with The Deadman swiftly defeating Cena. Fans were aware that Cena had been sitting at ringside for a considerable amount of time before finally entering the ring for his highly-anticipated bout.
While speaking on the Pat McAfee Show, John Cena revealed that he drank three tall beer drafts prior to his match against The Undertaker. Naturally, John Cena had a lot of fun doing it.
“Everybody’s chilled and watched the show because they were watching with John [Cena]. And I made great friends with some people who traveled from Australia and people who traveled from across the US buying each other beers. Literally, I crushed three tall drafts before they told me The Undertaker was there and I had to hop the barricade and go wrestle The Undertaker.”
The Undertaker retired back in 2020, during the Survivor Series Premium Live Event and was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame last year. As for John Cena, he is likely to return ahead of WrestleMania 39, for a program with Austin Theory.
We will have to wait and see how WWE will end up booking John Cena and Austin Theory’s match at the Show of Shows. Stay tuned at Ringside News for all your wrestling news.
