With Super Bowl LVII set to take place tonight, it seems Mahomes will not be at his physical best ahead of the game.

As the biggest event in American football approaches, excitement levels are reaching fever pitch. The highly anticipated Super Bowl LVII is set to take place on Sunday, February 12th, at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The showdown will feature the talented Kansas City Chiefs facing off against the formidable Philadelphia Eagles.

According to a report by James Palmer on Twitter, it was revealed that Patrick Mahomes will not be at 100% ahead of his major game at Super Bowl LVII. This is due to a lingering ankle issue.

Mahomes suffered the injury during his team’s playoff win against the Jacksonville Jaguars in the Divisional Round. Just three weeks removed from suffering a high ankle sprain during the game, Chiefs owner Clark Hunt also said that he doubts the quarterback will be at his best when taking on the Eagles.

Regardless, Patrick Mahomes will be making history at the Super Bowl in a big way. We will have to wait and see whether Mahomes will be able to lead his team to victory yet again this year.
