Keanu Reeves started his acting career in theatre and television films before making his feature film debut in Youngblood. Decades later, Reeves became one of the biggest stars in Hollywood. Unfortunately, with fame comes the risk of stalkers. It seems Reeves is seeking a restraining order against a stalker who harassed him and his partner.
According to a report by Radar Online, Reeves rushed to court for a temporary restraining order to protect himself and his partner Alexandra Grant from an alleged stalker who insists he is part of his family.
Celebrity lawyer Mathew Rosengart has filed the legal documents on his behalf Tuesday, January 31. The lawyer claimed that the 38-year-old Bryan Dixon has been harassing Reeves and his partner amid his determination to prove his apparen relation to Reeves.
The man has been accused of making at least six unwanted visits to Reeves’ home between November 2022 and January 2023. This prompted Keanu Reeves to hire a security firm to investigate.
During one of those visits, the alleged stalker left behind a backpack with a DNA testing kit “apparently intended to use on Mr. Reeves in a delusional attempt to prove they are blood-related.” It was added that the stalker is a total stranger to Keanu Reeves.
Dixon’s past run-ins with the law have raider concerns for Reeves, as the man currently has a bench warrant issued against him in Rhode Island for allegedly breaking and entering with felonious intent, possessing burglary tools, and vandalism.
It was reported that a judge signed off on the temporary order barring Dixon from coming within 100 yards of either Reeves or Grant. We’ll keep you updated on this ongoing story.
