The life of a rapper is full of ups and downs as most people know by now. While the career promises a lot of name and fame, there is also the risk of gang warfare, drugs and many other causes of death. Gangsta Boo of Three 6 Mafia recently passed away and this saddened the industry. Now it seems she was also filming a music video with Drumma Boy and Crunchy Black prior to her demise.

Gangsta Boo first shot to fame as part of the popular rap group Three 6 Mafia, as many viewed her as a true pioneer of female rappers. Unfortunately, Gangsta Boo passed away at the age of 43.

As revealed by behind-the-scenes footage obtained by TMZ, Boo, along with fellow Three 6 Mafia members Crunchy Black and La Chat, were filming Drumma Boy’s “Imma Mack” video, directed by K. Cutta.

It was said that Gangsta Boo was enthusiastic about the shoot and traveled back to her hometown of Memphis during Christmas to film her scenes. Boo’s iconic charisma and enthusiasm could be seen throughout the clip, as she reviewed the edit while holding a bottle of Patrón Tequila, and later in the final video, she can be seen cooking in the kitchen and delivering disses to her detractors.

As previously reported, Gangsta Boo’s demise might have been due to an overdose. Regardless, she still has more unreleased music, so fans can look forward to that in the foreseeable future.
