That being said, fans were not happy after seeing the ridiculous ticket prices for her ‘Renaissance’ tour.
On Wednesday, Beyoncé made an official announcement of the Renaissance World Tour, ending months of speculation. The tour will commence in Europe and fans are excited about the tour.
Fans in the UK were simply shocked when they logged on to Ticketmaster in an attempt to get in on the pre-sale. They discovered that the ticket prices are simply ridiculous and a few fans reminded Beyoncé of her lyrics in “Break My Soul” encouraging people to quit their jobs. “Now, I just fell in love / And I just quit my job,” Beyoncé during the first verse. “I’m gonna find new drive / Damn, they work me so damn hard / Work by 9 / Then off past 5 / And they work my nerves / That’s why I cannot sleep at night.”
The high demand for the Renaissance World Tour tickets has led to the addition of shows in select cities. However, fans have been shocked by the high ticket prices, with a minimum cost of $500 according to VividSeats. This price is expected to increase further in the resale market and those seeking last-minute tickets can expect to pay even more.
Beyoncé and her team were reportedly prepared for the high demand for tickets for the Renaissance World Tour. To help fans obtain tickets faster and beat bots, they implemented a new system, according to Ticketmaster. However, the system’s effectiveness may vary by city.
