John Cena became the face of WWE following the departure of “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, The Rock and Brock Lesnar. The Cenation leader was widely popular with young fans during his active in-ring days. He left WWE for Hollywood and achieved major success in his movie career as well. Cena’s next project was recently announced, and he’s beyond excited for that.

Ringside News exclusively reported that WWE and John Cena were in talks for something at the upcoming WrestleMania 39 premium live event. Vince McMahon also gave Cena his blessing to work for WWE as much as he can even without the boss overseeing the creative.

Most recently, Cena arrived in Australia to film a new movie, titled “Ricky Stanicky.” The movie will see the 16-time world champion alongside Zac Efron and Jermaine Fowler. Amazon Studios acquired the movie on Wednesday. The studio announced that they’ll drop the move exclusively on their streaming service.

That was certainly a big news for everyone involved on the the project, including Cena, who took to Twitter to share the development with millions of his followers. The “Peacemaker” star revealed he was “beyond excited” for his latest project. Read the full tweet here:
