Britney Spears suffered for 13 years due to her conservatorship, which had a hard impact on her mental health. She recently made headlines for suddenly deactivating her Instagram account, raising concerns among her fans about her mental health. However, her fans can now take a sigh of relief as she recently assured that she is “not having a breakdown.”
The “Toxic” singer took to her Instagram on Sunday to share a photo of a mildew-covered pink rose with a lengthy caption written alongside. “Since everyone thinks they know my story. THINK AGAIN !!! ” she began.
“A mere side of any given SUNDAY doesn’t show worship placing someones story out there … it’s a day of WELCOMING … not a righteous reply !!! It is what it is … nope I’m not having a breakdown … I am who I am and moving forward in my life. I have never felt better !!!”
The pop star said she is still “learning this no rules thing” after being released from the conservatorship that had overruled her life for almost 14 years and having the ability to use her “voice” in a society where she had “lost” her rights.
“[It gives me the] opportunity to know I matter and maybe if you walked in my shoes, then maybe just maybe you could understand.”
The pop star ended the lengthy caption by noting, “PS yes I took my Instagram down and now it’s back up because I can !!!” Spears made a dramatic comeback to the website after she vented out her anger on Twitter at her devoted followers who went “too far” to check on her.
The “Crossroads” artist claimed that police “never entered” her house and that they “realized there was no issue and left immediately” when they arrived at her gate. Spears acknowledged that after the episode hit the headlines, she felt “gaslit and bullied.” Stay tuned to Thirsty For News to get the latest updates regarding the pop icon.
